Disco 2 Tow bar

Hi guys,

I'm looking at purchasing a Disco 2 think I have found a sound example.

I need it to tow a trailer however and this car is not fitted with a tow bar (and never has been). So my question is this - how easy it is to fit a tow bar onto a car that has never had one fitted in the first place?

I've seen these on ebay and am quite tempted:
Tow bar
Would this just bolt on?
Will the mounting points already be on the car?

yes they just bolt on. mountings already there. you will probably find the threaded holes in the rear crossmember are quite corroded. they usually just need cleaning up with a tap. M14 i think. difficult size to get hold of.

electrics wire up to multiplug fitted just under off side rear light unit.

i can fit and wire one in under an hour, though i have done a few.

i drive a disco 2 td5 by the way
