If you take a look on www.trailwise.org, there would appear to be quite a few.

You can see things in circles of a 3km radius without signing up to one of the member organisations, or 20km radius if you do.

Note that all vehicles used on unsurfaced routes MUST be road legal i.e. taxed, insured and comply with construction and use regulations, the Welsh Police forces are quite hot on this as a result of trespassing or illegal use of unsurfaced roads in Powys and elsewhere.

It is, I grant you, a pain in the arse to use, but it's worth giving it another go!

Click on the "Browse Maps" part of the menu on the left, and then zoom in on the map, and when you get to the area you want, click on "search for tracks in view" at the bottom right.

The result for just to the NW of Llanelli looks something like this...

As a general rule, the lines in red tend to be the ones which are legal, but if you click on a trail, it will bring you up the information on the right which helps to know if there are TROs (traffic restrictions) or other issues with the route. It's a really good resource. smile
