Chaps,

any ideas as to where I can legally go off road in France or whether they have equivalents to our 'green lanes' that I can tackle next week if I get bored with the family holiday? smile For that matter, do they have anything similar to our OS maps that I can purchase if neccessary?

Same information for Portugal if you have any knowledge?

I've had a look when I've been at my parents' place in SW France. There's loads of tracks all over the place, but I've never been able to find out which ones are or aren't legal.

This is a good point. You have to practice saying "Boo!" in a really loud voice to make sure they surrender them before things get nasty!

Wise to send a stern email first...

And demand cheese with the white flag...
