Hi Guys.

Im new to this forum stuff so be kind.

I have a 51 reg Mitsubishi L200 4life(my baby) its purple over silver with lots of chrome & spotlights ( photos to come later). Im currently running on 265/70r16 tyres but thinking about putting 295/75r16 Kumho kl71 on it. Can anyone tell me if this size is ok to fit to standard alloys or will it cause problems. If it makes any difference I dont do any offroad in it yet as I want to do more upgrading to it. Cheers

What width are the wheels?

As for taking in off road, get stuck in! If you stick on loads of upgrades before you get any experience, you'll still get stuck, but when you do, getting unstuck will be a whole world harder!

I remember reading somewhere 285s were biggest you could go on standard and would probably need some bumper trimming.

Might be worth asking on www.l200.org.uk

When I had mine the largest tyre I could get on was a 285/75/16 but even then on full lock they "just" rubbed the front valance and needed a little trim to stop this. HTH
