Where to off road near Blantyre

Hi, looking for some good off roading in an unprepared Touareg, been on many off orad days with VW and LR and enjoyed them so much but there is a lack of anything happening outside these days, unless of course you can fill me in.

You can drive a lot of the rights of Way across Salisbury Plain when the Military arnt using it ... take a prepped offroader though to pull you out when you get stuck ... not so much up and down, but miles of countryside to drive though

Blantyre to Salisbury Plain is approx 450 miles so the above suggestion might not be that helpful !!!
