Help please jeep cherokee

I have a problem with jeep Cherokee 4lt 1998 no spark, I don't have the ignition circuit diagram so I cant track/test the circuit, the ignition coil has been replaced I have monitored the pick up on the distributor seems to be ok but I dont know if there is some fancy immobilizer issue any help appreciated

he has the haynes manual but no drawing on the ingition circuit

A wire from the battery +terminal to the +terminal on the coil should bypass most immobiliser issues with sparks I'd have thought.
