Nissan navara front wheel bearings?

I have been told by local garage that the O/S/F wheel bearing is on it's way out.

Apparently the bearing comes complete with housing and ABS sensor included! It's a whopping £420+ VAT

Surely the bearing can just be punched out and replaced, are the garage at it or is this genuine.
Seems that only Nissan can supply and there on nationwide back order!

Which model is it?
Millner list the D40 as £340 which is a little better.They "appear" to be out of stock.
I doubt very much that you'll get the bearing out in one piece.

No!. By the sounds of it. Its a complete hub assemblie with a tapered bearing. You will have to buy the complete unit. Its the same situation on the Hummer. But on the Hummer i can get a pair for £190.I would say the garage is telling you the truth.

It also appears to be on Nationwide back order.

So that tell's me it's obviously a common fault, maybe take it up with Nissan UK and see what they say. It's 2006 D40 Aventura.

I'd expect a vehicle of this size to be build with the components suitable for the size and weight of the vehicle.

Hi, just got the same problem. Does anyone know if you can get a non Nissan bearing only for this vehicle?

Any help would be appreciated!
