Just a quick one.
Is it OK /recommended to drive without the roof but still have full doors in place.
Will this put too much strain on the top of the doors causing them to crack, or will they be OK.
Because would like to take my son in the Jeep - but could do with doors on as a precaution, so he wont fall out.

These things can be driven with doors and roof removed no problems at all , but i would be concerned about a small child in the front with no doors on , i know some of my passengers have moaned about feeling bit too exposed .

I'm sure you've thought about it, but seatbelts?? wink

lol only joking.

Which Wrangler is it? YJ, TJ or JK? And are they full doors, or half doors?

I can't see it being an issue either way though.

If it's something you want to do often it might be worth getting hold of some half doors, factory ones look just like the bottom of the door and painted, or lots of aftermarket alternatives:

I have a YJ - just got it. I will order some half doors from the States. but will wait for the volcanoe to "go out".

I will try to take the top off tomorrow. - expect rain from then!

I have a CJ and often use it with the roof down and full doors on.It will not be an issue for the vehicle.Given it is a separate chassis/body vehicle,. and not a monocoque, there are almost zero forces passed through the door.
Be prepared to dig deep for the half doors, with carriage,VAT and duty it will hurt!

Sorted, just took everything off, can easily put the doors back on if needed.

If you are still looking for your desired Jeep Wrangler Parts, why won't you try to find that one in the internet or in your local area stores. In that way, you would be able to really compensate all your needs. Hope all is well with you.
What a truly random post!

I don't think that this is a real person. If you look at "his" other posts they seem to contain some form of advertising and are very random. The content and sentence construction is similar to those generated by automated computer response programs.

I think armandjones82 is some type of autobot advertising program. The moderators should check this out so we are not deluged with this type of posting.
