Hi all

I'm interested in looking at a Disco in Birmingham on Sunday morning. The disco has no MOT, but is up at a decent price. The guy is unemployed so can't put an MOT on (yeah this could be total crock). Anyone in Brum want to come with me and advise on condition? I'll buy you breakfast as it'll be about 9 ish for a guess... biggrin

Alternatively I'd probably be able to do something Sat afternoon for those who don't like getting up early - the seller is reluctant to do Sat if poss.

If not, anyone fancy giving me a link to a comprehensive buyers guide instead? I know know NOTHING about them, apart from look for rust, but I've never seen a bad one so hard to judge!

Cheeky I know but if you don't ask...

A recent mag did on feature on how bad the rust can be, and how well hidden it can be. I'll try to dig it out.
Why not offer to pay for the MOT? The failure sheet will tell you if you want to buy it or not. Remember that if you can't weld, it's unlikely to be an economical repair as they'll be others out there that don't need welding.
