Jeep Grand Cherokee Help

I have started to hear a creaking/clicking/scraping noise coming from under the glove compartment/in the footwell.

The car is a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Edition (60th Anniversary 4.7L V8)

Has anybody else had this problem on this car? Or is it a genuine problem on all cars?

ETA - The noise has now stopped, but does anyone know what could of been making the noise?
