Hi, managed to break the hanger off one of my leaf springs out on my first pay and play day in the SJ, turns out replacement leaf springs are somewhat like hens teeth at the moment. Anyway, I have managed to source a pair of leaf springs from a Bedford Rascal, and I'm sure I've read somewhere previously that as these are designed to take a bit of weight they effectively give you a 2" lift when put on an SJ. The query I have is that my front leaf springs are standard, and these new leaf springs are potentially going to give me 2"s of lift on the rear, other than looking a bit silly is this likely to cause any other problems?

I have a vague feeling that you have to put the front springs from the Rascal on the rear of the SJ or something like that. Take a look in the Zook section on difflock.com. You'll find an answer there in seconds!

Well, fitted them on, and WOW!

Loads of lift. Comparing them side by side to the ones I took off, the SJ ones have two leaves, the Bedford ones have four. Still waiting for new bushes as I had to burn the old ones out of the Bedford springs so haven't had a chance to road test yet.
