Santana PS10 VS Defender
Discussion
Seen a few the other day outside a dealer in Conway. They looked extremely good value.
Though I have say so are these, and a much better vehicle than a defender epscially given you can get a new one for about half the price of a defender

Yep they are a defender/ SIII hybrid really.
Uses cart springs as opposed to coils and some of the Santana parts can be a bit pricey/bugger to get hold of but there is a fair cross over on other parts.
Me I perfer my Landy as it looks a bit less 80s (in styling terms it is closer to 40's I know)

It's not exactly just cart springs. They use parabolic leaf springs. Still capable off road and fairly descent in road.
Think it depends what you want to do with said vehicle and how much you want to spend. Rember while it's cheaper now it'll also probably lose more money and be harder to sell on.
If you want a rugged different workhorse the Santana offers everything really.
