I wouldnt pay much for it.Its all wrong. Its got the later ZF box with the borg warner transfer box instead of the Chrysler unit. wrong steering wheel and grill.Not a genuine car.So it really shouldnt command much!

Maybe you are right however, as I seriously thought it would go for a lot mroe than that given its stunning appearance. Genuine or not, you try finding a classic with the body in that condition. Most of them are rotten by now, and an enthusiast would probably buy it and put it back as standard.

Maybe not that year. But there have been a few later examples about which were genuine cars in equally as good condition and commanded huge sums.

My mate just got a 2 door from japland which was mint seems they got loads of late RR 2 door models.

IIRC they continued to sell base model 2 doors to foreign markets after they dropped them here.

I remember seeing them in brochures around 1991/2 with a "*only for export market" against them
