I have been meaning to get back into off road driving for almost a decade but, work, family, road driving, all have got in the way of me doing this. I'd love to, maybe once a month, do a bit of green laning and would actually prefer to hire someone's (not necessarily flash) vehicle rather than get one myself, at least at this stage, I only have room for 2 cars outside my place for a start... Even if this meant hiring something from someone and going out on a weekend thrash, with them. I'm by no means rich but could certainly make a worthwhile contribution, I'd ensure that I covered the vehicle on my insurance, fully comp' and being in early mid life, I'm quite a sensible driver so your precious (or not so precious - even a 30 year old Landie or a 15 year old SJ would be cool) machinery would be in relatively safe hands...I live in Bagshot, any takers smile

Thanks, tbh it's a bit of a shot in the dark but I know when I last had a rusting 4x4 on my drive I would, and did several times lend it, out so considered that it might be worth asking.

I may well be able to help you out, always assuming my SJ gets through the MOT with a new wheel bearing!

I'm in Epsom, so not a million miles away, and many of the off road play areas I'd head for are down the M3 or A3 anyway.
