I just offered a dealer £1,800 for a 51 plate L200 bog-basic double-cab. He won't go under £2.6k and got all arsey with my offer
It's got 98k on the clock. Nice clean oil under the cap, bit scruffy and needing a damn good clean inside. Exhaust looks rusty but isn't blowing, wheels are rusty. Tyres are OK but are 3 different brands with varying levels of tread left.
I don't reckon it's worth it. Year MOT, 2 months tax, no bed liner, no rear canopy or load cover. He's had it since early December.
Anyone got an idea of what it's really worth? Am I being optimistic offering <£2k?

Im looking for one of these things too (or navara, ranger, BT50 or defender), was at dunecht 4x4 yesterday and he had one in at 6K....the seats were in tatters... it was a warrior but had been in the wars!
I think if you go back to the guy you may get a better deal, they are not shifting metal at the moment so worth a second shot, however maybe he payed more than your offer on the car??? (in which case he could be in trouble!)
