need defender 90

hello all,
i am looking for a defender 90,something like a 1996 onwards.have a tight budget just getting into the hole thing, i have roughly 3grand to spend or someone willing to p/x a 2003 clio dynamique in black. please help

Hi there.
You may struggle to find a 1996 (300TDi) 90 for your budget even in the current climate but you may find a 200 TDi. You are best looking for post-1991 Landy when they became the Defender as they have better engines than earlier models. I recently bought a 1991 Defender for £2800 which was quite a bargain but neesd some work to make it perfect (a relative term for Landies)!!! Happy hunting and do plenty of reseach!!!
