off roading near halstead, essex

i live in halstead in essex and i often see lots of people in discos and defenders who look like they have been having lots of dirty fun in the mud. is there anyone on here who knows where and what they have been doing as i have just been given a V6 freelander by my dad (thanks dad) and would like to get it muddy :lol:
