Mitsubishi /L200/ shogun sport clutch problem

Had new clutch fitted to my Shogun Sport. Now when you put it into neutral and release the clutch there is a rattling noise. The guy who fitted it has looked into it and thinks that Mitsubishi are supplying a revised clutch as the original was failing prematurely and the revised clutch is causing the noise. He has agreed to have it back for a look. Anyone have any knowledge of this?
