Just seen these are now available in RHD (petrol & EV)

What are the PH collective’s thoughts on them?

Good lord, INEOS have been wasting their time!

Farmers of Great Britain, your vehicle is here.

Can interior be hosed?

Can get a new one (with 2 years warranty) for same price as a rusty 20 year old Defender, The importers are reasonably local so will have a propper look in the new year.

Closest equivalent would be a Series 3 Land Rover or Jeep YJ Wrangler.

Leaf springs all round, so not the last word in comfort.

The design originated in the 1960's and not a lot has changed, other than the ridiculously high price. It is okay if you want a basic vehicle that you can repair yourself...as long as you live in Russia so you can actually get all the spare parts you will almost certainly need. Also okay if you are a nostalgic Soviet type. Other than that it is a fairly awful choice.

Looks like they have discontinued the petrol powered models as they have disappeared from their website, EV models only

If you want a petrol one, you could always go to UAZ Benelux (www.uaz-patriot.be).
