Honda CRV Project

Morning Guys,

I'm looking to sell a 2008 CRV 2.2 diesel EX on behalf of a family member who is giving up driving due to age, Its a really straight, clean and well serviced vehicle.....however, its going to be a bit of a project due to some issues.

Needs:
Clutch and Dual Mass Fly Wheel
Master Cylinder (On occasion has sinking clutch pedal)
Air Con no longer blows cold

Its done 140,000 miles, is MOTd until March and as I say is well serviced and prior to him giving up driving was well loved.

What do you think this would be worth?

Looking on Autotrader and the like they seem to be around £3000-£3500 retail but I'm aware this is private and has issues.

I did contemplate having it myself as a winter and work car but theres other things id like to do this year. Any advice, thoughts would be appreciated.

There is a 142k miles trade sale for £1,890 and 3 others at £2.5K. Private you would be reasonably be looking at about £1,500. Your repairs are likely to cost that much. If it was me I would go to WBAC and trade it or sell it as is.

We have 4 CRVs in the family, 2 x Gen 1s, a Gen 2 and a Gen 3, love them !!
