Navara D40 economy

Recently bought a D40 auto pick up in aventura spec.

Absolutely love it, but not the fuel consumption! Averaging 21mpg normally, and 17/18mpg towing an empty trailer, is this normal? I didn’t expect a Prius, but I thought 26/27mpg would be about right!

What sort of roads do you drive on?

What is your driving style?

How are you working out the mpg?

Is the vehicle modded?

Vehicle is standard, tropically journeys of around 30miles at a time, half motorway and town driving. Tend to drive with economy in mind!

That’s an ok figure to be fair, 24-25 mpg if you tickle it is achievable.
