I'm interested in joining the Trail Riders Fellowship as I'd like to ride some green lanes with the back up of other bikers in case of breakdown etc

I've looked at the main site and found the Midlands Group - website is dead, forum doesn't load.

I've found them on Facebook, private group - messaged months ago - no reply

So I messaged the main TRF group about the Midlands group - no reply

Hence I'm wondering IF they are still active - how on earth they are still going !

I joined the TFR years ago but struggled to get anywhere with them. Never rode with them in the end, just joined other local groups instead.

Other local groups ?

I just want to find someone to ride with - all my mates are now couch potatoes

Aye. West Yorkshire Lane Riders in my case. I then met dozens of other riders through them.

Try googling green laning in your area or search Facebook, there are a lot of active enduro groups. Enduro riders tend to be hugely accommodating and friendly.

I have a feeling the local Facebook groups might be a better laugh with more likeminded people

I found most of the forums have disappeared and I can't find anything on Facebook - I must be doing something wrong but I find it the worst designed site on the internet

Try the green laner association, many members use motorcycles as well as cars to go laning. You also get access to Trailwise 2 the national database of unsealed roads.

Ive just joined the trf,£56 .Once you've joined up the fb groups are open to you,bit rough but that seems to be how it works.Going to a local meet Thursday and there seems to be plenty of rides arranged (Wiltshire)
