Unlock all doors on VW Amarok with keyfob

I picked up a new 68 plate Amarok about a month ago and the door unlock feature is annoying the heck out of me. When i click once to unlock the car it only unlocks the drivers door. I have to them double click the key fob again to get the rest of the doors to open and sometimes i end up mashing away at the key fob when its chucking it down with rain etc to let other people in the car.

Is there any way i can have it so it opens all doors on one click of the keyfob? I looked on the infotainment screen but couldn't see it anywhere.

From memory on other VAG cars, Its normally under convenience settings, maybe security ? and unlock doors,
If it is not there then I would ask the dealer or find someone with a Vag com cable to change the setting to allow all doors to be opened with 1 button press.

It is probably a setting in the multi function display in your dashboard.
If not , then you will need Vagcom/vcds

That is also standard on my wife’s Fabia, so it may be a VAG thing. It is soon remembered and is not an issue. On the other hand my F30 is selectable in vehicle settings menu for all doors (and boot) or just driver’s door. I would imagine yours is codeable for a later built car. There is probably a menu for vehicle settings somewhere. If not, it is not really an issue: driver only, one click, others with you two clicks of button.

I haven't found any useful user-select options such as your request in the menu system of my 67 plate Amarok. It feels like the functionality is not the same as the passenger vehicles. Might be possible if you had a reader.

Use Carista, there’s many other features like needle sweep, total closure & so on
