Any Mitsubishi shogun experts here?

Just bought one and the hands free system is locked out. Looking through manual it seems previous owner has set a password

I’ve trued resetting in system and unplugging battery terminal but still wants password. As this is a user set one there is nothing in handbook to reset it.

Long shot but any ideas?

Unsure if you mean its a mitsubishi factory fit one, if so then ask the dealer, or a 3rd party one, such as parrot, if so email / look at the manufacturers web site

Yes factory fit. Manual on one page talks about setting a user password looks like what’s happened

Found various things looking but mainly America and it seems a different system.

I’ll try dealer where I bought it and Mitsubishi dealer

How did you cure it?

I spoke with a guy today at the dealer but he just said you put in the code and then in your phone. Couldn’t grasp that whatever you put in says wrong password and your phone won’t find it because Bluetooth is disabled. I’ll have to drive up.
