As per title.

I was wondering what or if there were any differences in specs between the UK spec Landcruisers of around 2006 - 2010, with regard to the 4WD systems.

All specs i find seem to relate to toys and interior.

Were there differen specs on diff locks, centre diffs, or any electronic gizmos for the 4WD between the versions, or was it reliant on spec check boxes at purchase time?

Thanks,

Dom

No difference to drive train as far as I know on the earlier ones apart from auto getting another gear around 2005ish but the LC5 (and maybe invincible if that replaced the ‘5) has air suspension which can give problems. Most desired seems to be the LC4 because it’s the next best specced. The newer ones I’m not so sure about - I was only in the 2003-2005 age range when I was looking.

There ya go - https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=68... - ukvette suggests pre 2007 are the years you’d need. Pick a car that’s for sale and ask Toyota for confirmation? Even by using reg number to ‘request’ axle spares.
