2018 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk - any good?
Discussion
Hi folks,
Anyone here have any experience of the new Grand Cherokee Trailhawk (or the Overland, Summit etc?)
I'm quite tempted by them given the price, spec and apparent all round capability. I had vaguely been eyeing up a new Range Rover Sport but frankly the numbers just don't make sense for what I need the car for - and I'm bit nervous about reliability.
The Summit look nice but is a bit too bling for me and I like the more rugged design spec for the Trailhawk. Will the Trailhawk specs significantly compromise the on road capability? I'm guessing that there will be some trade off but living in rural Scotland I do need something that can deal with more than the odd muddy track. Equally I want something that is good on road too. We have a 2006 Land Cruiser which will deal with pretty much anything that is thrown at it - apart from corners; it really does not like them!
Thanks in advance,
TD

I'm very very pleased with the WK2 Overland i've got
AIr suspension, rear locker, great stereo, comfy seats, radar cruise, great infotainment, tows 3.5tonne well. 85k miles and not a single problem (tempting fate)
but its NOT a range rover competitor- its a disco competitor,
would love the trailhawk- my overland is on 18" wrangler rims with BFG ATs- its not as unstoppable as my 80 series landcruiser, buts its 97% there a nd 500% better on road. offf road they are really surprisingly good.
