The latest Wrangler looks very nice and has a high quality interior. They have done a great job updating it and still retaining the iconic style. I would certainly consider one but they are not the bargain they once were due to the exchange rate.

The v6 diesel seems reliable enough in the GC since 2012 and ride comfort improved a lot.

I just can’t afford one. Well I can but not brave enough.

Hope they do them in that purple colour.

Just hoping they actually bring the pickup version over here, the Grand would be offloaded asap for a Wrangler pickup

Domestic pricing has taken a rise too in the US. I am getting one late in year.

Has very quickly become a lot more pricey and I expect the JL will be a £40k motor.

I agree that Jeep have done a good job on the new version, although more hard top flexibility would have been nice.

do the doors still come off? Still the only thing on the road you can convert to a er convertible.

Keep looking at the black one above. They’ve done a great job.

I think it's a shame. Another rough tough vehicle gone up market and no bargain price anymore.

The Land Rover Discovery seems to be another Range Rover these days and even the new darling of PH, the Dacia Duster is being revamped for 2019 with bits added to the bodywork and a smart interior, and no doubt a price hike.

I was tempted by the previous Wrangler Unlimited and watched the secondhand prices for ages but they just didn't really drop, yet the new prices went from below £20k to over £30k.

£10 to £12k will get you a 10 year old Jeep but that's beyond my budget for that age car.

Doors can be removed, roof panels can be removed and windscreen can be folded down.

It still cannot tow anything and it will still roll over arse over tit down a steep incline.

Still nice though.
