An auto is up for sale near me and I'm quite interested in it. Are they any good?

Had one and loved it, cavernous inside.

However, they are affected by the navara rusting / snapping chassis issue so watch out!

Thanks.

I've heard about the chassis issue. Nissan UK have said will check the chassis free of charge.

Any other issues to look for?

Cruise control failed, again a common issue I think, but was a simple fix - if I remember rightly we replaced the 'park neutral sensor' on the gear box (not sure of the cost as my brother did for me but it wasn't a big job).

Rock solid otherwise.

Pretty sure that was only up to a certain point, pre-2006 I think?
