Navara V6 opinions.

After owners opinions please,good and bad.Know they like a drink but seriously contemplating purchasing one come summer,so am after any known issues regards reliability etc. Cheers.

Hi There, I got a new v6 outlaw in October last year, one of the last as they have just changed the model to a smaller engine.
Have to say, great car/pickup. loads more room than the older D22 and bags of torque/bhp than other pickups in its class (I think!!).
Interior is pretty good for a commercial vehicle, all the toys you expect plus leather etc.
As you say fuel is a bit of a sticking point, im averaging 25mpg.

i swapped my Jag for the V6 outlaw 23 months ago

not a good as a jag but very good for what it is, the v6 outlaw has all the toys from dvd player reversing camera heated electric front seats, satnav etc etc etc

goes on 60 in sub 10 seconds, some people saying 8 seconds if you rag them
will sit on the European roads at 100 all day long

I drive to southern France for the in-laws several times a year, get 34+ mph running about 90 mph on cruise with the climate control on and the back full and with kids bike on the deck lid

very happy with mine, they are big units though and don't fit in normal size parking bays, length or width
