New shocks for my 2004 WJ
Discussion
I'm thinking of getting these from e-bay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/291411688748?_trksid=p20...
Best price I've seen anywhere, over a £100 cheaper than http://www.4playjeep.com/
I've read only good things about these Bilstein's, mainly on the American sites , nothing bad.
Any comments b4 I go ahead ?
Cheers

Fitted them yesterday and took for a quick test drive.
Yes there is a slight improvement in the ride quality, less of a front dip when breaking, but its early days yet. I'm thinking under heavier loads they may show a difference.
What surprised me was the original dampers were still in serviceable condition. She's 11 years old with 85K on the clock. Guy from the states told me his WJ dampers were "toast" at this point, I think my Grand has had an easy life so far !!
