I have run out of space and need to get rid of my XJ Jeep Cherokee.

115k, R reg, a few light scratches, but everything works and it has a virtually new 3" Rough Country lifted suspension.

Any views on value?

lift won't add much value, what spec & engine?

It's a 4.0 Limited.

You are probably right on the lift - almost better to simply regard it as new suspension, given so many have saggy backsides!

The best way to form a few on value is to look at the auto trader website and compare others of similar age and mileage.

Between £750 - £1000 if you want to sell it.

I've been thinking of selling mine, almost identical spec with an IRO 3" lift and Rusty's Offroad tank/transfer case guards, and had concluded the same disappointing price.

I suspect mine was in a worse condition than yours - good mechanically, but poor paint.

In the end I decided that it had more than repaid me with good, long, reliable service, so I have donated it to charity using www.giveacar.co.uk and the proceeds will be given to the Nepal appeal.

So if you see R937KWS coming up at your local auction house, it is a great car, just a bit scruffy, and every pound you pay goes to people in real need.
