Best forum for a 4x4 build thread?

What's the best forum for starting a build thread for a 4x4 trials buggy? To get advice from people that have done custom builds or serious mods?

I used to use difflock.com when I did my Vitara mods, but seems completely dead there now. Pirate4x4 is alive but its U.S. based and we have different parts and styles in the UK. Muddybuggy is quiet these days and seems to be about little grass racers, not 35" wheeled trucks.

So dunno? I've had some top advice on this forum... maybe just do it here?

The only one I know is offroadexpress which is a fairly active NZ 4wd forum, but again things might be different to the UK.

Wow, actually I was going to model my build on the NZ type trials buggies. They are wider, more stable, and more bhp focused rather than torque.

Devon4x4 looks pretty active.

Perhaps start a thread and see what happens - if nothing you can always start it again on another forum.

Pirate 4x4 is american based but some of the fabricating and general builds is impressive.
