not sure on the exact model but I think it may be a van conversion - as fully flat roof and fixed windows, no moon type windows and raised rear section of roof.

Check for rust arches and windows as they tend to suffer from this.

Yeah it has a bit of rust around the screen but it's quite a good price...., although it has 201000 mls on it !!!!
Anyone else hazard a guess to the model??

I've got 3. One of them has (I think) 33 x 10,5 x 15 mud tyres on it. The other 2 also have pretty wide tyres. I'll have a look tomorrow and maybe post a pic.

They are very capable off-road. Engines are indestructible. Rust is the biggest problem. 200,000 is just run in. One of mine is about 7000 miles off 500,000 (original engine, gearbox replaced at about 400,000. smile

It is a F73, although as richs2891 says, the Fieldman version was a van type with metal panels at the back, so it may have been converted. I wouldn't let that put me off.

They'll definitely fit without a lift. You may need to watch out for the plastic wheel-arch extensions if extreme off-roading, but for most use you'll be fine.

P.S. Please turn off caps lock! smile

So I went and brought the f73 1997 fieldman..... It's brilliant, but how do I use the four wheel drive gear leaver?? The green light seems to be on when the leaver is in nuteral !!? But if I run slowly back there is definitely a force against me, when I drove it home the green light was on..., think I'm being a bit thick but can someone explain the basic 4wd gear shift positioning operation with green light on/off ???? .......... ie, is standard runung possition straight up too "2h" ETC !!??

Does it have a combination of manual lever and electrical pushbutton or is it just a select lever?

Ok, it's just a manual gear leaver but I think I've got it sorted with the normal running gear being straight up, think it's 2H ? If you could make it a little clearer I would be great full thanks 👍
