Early Mitsubishi L200 headlamp bulb change.

My friend has a 2005 L200 (last of the early models). He needs to change the main dipped bulb but can't seem to get the bulb out. The cable socket seems to go through a large rubber grommet. I think the grommet moves but we are having difficulty removing that to get to the bulb.

Is there any guide or do you guys have any other ways of removing the bulb?

Wiggle and pull off the plug while you hold the grommit/bulb , then pull the grommit off the lamp unit, then there's a wire clip holding the bulb in...
