I'm pretty sure someone on here will know about the Venom protruck -
A British chap built a Trophy truck to race in the British Cross Country Championship, he finished it but the sponsor wouldn’t allow him to enter because they could only supply 29” tyres and he’d built the truck around 32” ones!

What happened to the Venom protruck?

wasn't he based in the Southwest- Tiverton?

seem to remember it was just too big and was up for sale about 2 years ago without a driveline, not sure what happened to it from there.

Hi,
think so. Yes, IIRC it was around 116" to 120" wheelbase and very wide track. Like you say far too big for UK events. I am not sure on sizes for the US Trophylite trucks but they might be a better bet over here. I think they run 2 litre GM Ecotec engines.

I was reminded about the Venom by the recent "Recoil 2" film....
