Freelander/Discovery3/XC90/Touareg
Discussion
Dear All
I am looking to sell my Ford Kuga Titanium and use some of the money to buy a 4x4,
I cannot however decide between the following:
Landrover Freelander 2
Landrover Discovery 3
Volvo XC90
VW Touareg
I am looking to spend £7-8k,
My main fear is that the freelanders boot is too small, how does this compare to the Kuga?
I do not believe the quoted 755l of space is correct? Are there any real world dimensions for the actual boot size?
What are peoples views on the above choice??
Thank you

It is correct as it's measured to the roofline which makes a huge difference. Its a reasonable width and depth but owing to the boxy shape of the FL2 its high and square so has a decent capacity loaded up to the roofline, and with seats down (they fold flat) its a good big useable space, Ive had a big fridge freezer in no trouble.I do not believe the quoted 755l of space is correct? As for dimensions, Ill measure later if you'd like?!

Yes please!!!As for dimensions, Ill measure later if you'd like?!
Ok, boot floor is 88cm deep down the centre, 100cm between arches but increases above them and has space either side behind the arches.
Its 79cm high at the door, 100-110cm wide.
Seats down is a good 170cm from rear of my seat to tailgate, 140cm across the back seat and about 90cm tall once inside.
Hope thats useful?!
