Just had the alignment on the WJ done, and all good apart from the Castor angle. Factory says between 6.00 and 7.5 degrees, and is non adjustable.

Mine is approx 5.3 degrees on one wheel and 5.5 degrees on the other.

I know Jeep have been offering off-set ball joints for this problem, but as mine are almost identical I thought maybe something else may be the problem.

1) Is this something I should be concerned about ?
2) What would cause this if its not adjustable, worn control arm bushes ? (just guessing here...)
3) Any chance this would cause "slight" to the left drifting ?

Cheers

Get some adjustable upper arms, easier than the ball joint fix. From experience you will never fix the left drift, its built into them

Do you mean adjustable upper control arms ? Where can you buy those in the UK ?

On reflection, to a greater or lower degree, most of the cars Ive ever owned always seem to have a tendancy to drift left. I read somewhere cars are designed to do this so you dont crash into cars coming the other way. Although that may just be internet waffle !

As long as the Earth has a magnetic field and butterflies fart in the Amazon, Grand Cherokees will pull to the left.
