So they've near enough banned vehicles from nearly every green lane they can find, just so they can open them up to rambler's own vehicles.....
Fun at 4mph as long as you wear red socks and a bobble hat

Yes I know a powered scooter isn't a Land Rover or a Jeep or whatever, but FFS a perfectly workable solution to mobility has been around for decades and the bloody stupid narrow minded militant blinkered ramblers have done all they can to eradicate it.......

Don't worry. They'll get the off-road bug, and pretty soon the regular ramblers will be losing their numbers.
I can see an opportunity for selling them winches and wheel spacers (until they are as wide as Landies) wink

This times eleventy twelve; they along with anti-greenlane council RoW officers and several other organisations fought a very successful campaign to get rid of vehicular access, and won thanks to the prick Blair and his nanny state legislation; and all for removing access to a whopping ~2% of the UK's unsurfaced RoWs, as most of them were not legally accessible by vehicle anyway. I won't hold my breath waiting for a reversal of the regressive law.

The Ramblers do so much to harm their claimed own cause. They just want a cause. I walk most days and talk to the landowners who are almost exclusively friendly, they have maintained signs, stiles, cleared routes through crops and modified fences. There are a few who are weird but they are a small minority.

The million dollar question is how we go about countering their BS and stop them influencing public opinion before it's too late. Unfortunately, these people make being haemorrhoids their full-time occupation and they have way too much time on their hands. frown
