Grand Cherokee Tie rod ends ?
Discussion
I checked over my grand Cherokee yesterday looking for reasons it drifts to the left. I've noticed a little play in the tie rod ends, and as I've no experience of working on these components I could use some advice.
I've made a video clip of the tie rod being checked, is anyone with experience on this willing to pm me their e-mail so I can send the video file for an opinion if they need replacing ?
Thanks

I find the easiest way to check for play is to hold the joint while someone rocks the steering, you can pickup movement in the rod end compared to the hub better than just looking.
Can you not stick the video on youtube or photobucket etc & share a link?
I could try that, never done it before tho !Can you not stick the video on youtube or photobucket etc & share a link?

I understand the drag arm end link is a Chrysler OEM part only, no Moog item availible.

search the rock auto site for the part numbers I listed rather than browse for it The axle end drag link is a RHD special, can be had from plenty other than Chrysler, will check what my mate got as all his other stuff was Moog. Crown certainly do them but I don't rate them, they are what in the Landy world Britpart are to the Jeep world
