Who knows about Warn winches then?

I have a Warn 68266 on a Toyota Landcruiser.

Power is getting to the thing, I've plugged in the remote control and the little light on the bottom works, but it doesn't wind in/out.

Any ideas/troubleshooting I can do?

Hit it with a rock, it always used to work on my T-Max winch.

It'll have to be a very small rock! The winch is built in behind the bumper.

Tried it both ways. My best guess is that something's seized. When on free spool, I can't pull it out either

Is it 'clicking'?

If it's clicking, it has power & the solenoids are moving. Get a volt meter across the motor to see if you have power there... If not, you need new solenoids (which is the usual problem).

Not clicking at all.

I assume there's no way to temporarily override them/quick fix?!
