I have a 2006 range rover vouge and have a message come up when starting "check the coolant level". On investigation the sensor works. The bottle has some silt in it so I think it wants changing.

My coolant resevoir is clear not black does any one know where I can get one? Ie not land rover?

Thanks

call john craddocks, the one on my discovery one gave up a few months ago, called them, was less than £40 and in my hands in 48hrs.

fitting it was another matter as the daughters boyfriend is st at holding a torch on what you are working on rather than what he wants to look at, mind my son was the same, and my dad reckons i was too (i resemble that last bit smile)

You will find if the Antifreeze mix is not 50 50 it also brings in this warning.

Perhaps I'm miss understanding but not sure why you want to replace the expansion reservoir.

Try reverse flushing the system and replacing with fresh coolant.
