Defender Start Up

Hi all, new to defender ownership, a question, when starting the engine, it starts, and then I get a clunk/grind sort of noise as if starter motor turning over an extra turn.

After I start the engine you can hear it in the background, is this normal for a Defender? Doesn't sound it to me comparing to others in the car park (2.4 tdci).

Not normal, no.

It's difficult to tell in the video but yes it could be the starter not disengaging quickly enough.
