Very nice special edition Jeep Wrangler

I don't get why some people think they are camp.
I have a TJ model, the one before the big facelift.
It's got a 4.0l straight six engine that is anything but camp.
I can't think of where the camp reference came from.
I know Daisy Duke drove one. (A cj-7 actually, that was pre wrangler)
Are there some other references that I'm missing, or is it just a generic 'all convertibles are for hairdressers' thing?

I am guessing the Queer As Folk TV series has something to do with it.I have a TJ model, the one before the big facelift.

I think Barbie has one too. It's funny.
The original Willy's jeep is probably the manliest of all cars.
It's about as camp as an smle or .50cal machine gun.
It's the illegitimate grandaddy of the Land Rover and it's seen more combat than Gunney Hightower.
And now its descendants ore driven by Barbie and Pat.
