They look like standard BFG mud terrain km to me! you can see them in this photo:-

And here is the picture on the bfg website for reference :-

A 3.6 V6 producing 285bhp. I guess 0-60 is irrelevant off-road but 6.7 secs would make sure its not holding up traffic! Despite the slightly camp image I am warming to the wrangler.

I don't get why some people think they are camp.
I have a TJ model, the one before the big facelift.

It's got a 4.0l straight six engine that is anything but camp.

I can't think of where the camp reference came from.
I know Daisy Duke drove one. (A cj-7 actually, that was pre wrangler)

Are there some other references that I'm missing, or is it just a generic 'all convertibles are for hairdressers' thing?

I am guessing the Queer As Folk TV series has something to do with it.

I have one and they are very useful if you do a lot of offroads and trails. Not the quickest thing on the road, but perfectly acceptable.

So does Postman Pat.

It's funny.
The original Willy's jeep is probably the manliest of all cars.
It's about as camp as an smle or .50cal machine gun.

It's the illegitimate grandaddy of the Land Rover and it's seen more combat than Gunney Hightower.

And now its descendants ore driven by Barbie and Pat.
