Hi all,

I'm currently after a steering rack for my Land Cruiser, Toyota wants £1100 for a new one so Im having a look around and came across Milner Offroad who are selling a new item for £300. My only issue is how cheap it is compared to the Genuine one. Having searched on the Internet a little bit it seems some of their items are not the best quality.

Although I am not a fan of refurbed stuff, can anyone recommend me a good company to use? or has anyone experience with Milners steering racks? as the price does seem too good to be true and I would be pretty pissed if it started leaking 6 months later!

cheers

No idea about the actual item but Milner Offroad have an excellent reputation and build race trucks.

I doubt they would sell crap, give them a call and ask the question!

Milners can be hit and miss depending on what you get. I know a few who have had issues with springs from them but many more who have not. They are generally quite quick and good at sorting bits out when there are issues. I have had a fair few parts from them over the last couple of years and never had an issue.

Well, I rang up the other day and asked about them etc, they had 10 in September and sold out and ordered more which is what batch my one is in, and 4 others are on back order. I could not find anything on the internet about the racks they sell, so I took a punt. It has a one year warranty...
