Quad bike treks
Discussion
Has anyone done a proper cross country quad bike trek in the UK? I'm not talking one of those man-made courses with obstacles but a proper route around the countryside?
Preferably in West Yorkshire but willing to drive further for the right one.
I've only ridden automatic quads a couple of times so the terrain would need to be appropriate for a beginner.

I did one in South Cheshire a few years back that was quite good. A 10 mile trek, it took a fair while to do. Whilst there were a few man made obstacles, the majority of it was through forests and streams, and across fields and up hills - all good natural obtacles to test the quads and riders. They are all automatic RWD quads, so easy to ride but not so capable that they make overly light work of the route.

Took my 700 Grizzly down to the Rallye de Cimes last month and did just over 500 miles looking at the stages, fantastic fun.
Lots of lads head of to Wales green laneing on their Quads, been quite a few times and you can over some great terrain and see fantastic scenery but always best mid week if you can to miss the busy weekends.
