Hey all,

I'm looking at getting myself a winter smoker so I can keep the Cayman off the roads in the bad weather over winter.

Been looking at the Pinin as it seems to have some good reviews for ability off road and cheapish to run. It's the 1.8Mpi version but it has some rust on the wings and some repair to rust around the suspension turret. Pictures below, is this to be expected and would it put you off of a £1.5k runabout?

Don't know the vehicle but a quick search on the trader says there are 50 odd between a grand & 2. I wouldn't buy one with welding like that for that money.

I wouldn't.

IMO - For a winter hack, I'd suggest a Jeep for that sort of money.
