Navara Hardbody 3.0 S.A import - part needed

Got a Nissan Navara on a 53 plate in need of a gearbox speed sensor. originally from nene overland, its a 3.0 import from South Africa.
Nene are no longer getting parts for them and Milner off road cannot do a VIN check on S.A cars. they "think" its the same part as the D22 but dont touch gearbox parts anyway, so...
where else do i try?
we are using it atm with no working speedo and need this bit quite urgently. if anyone can point me in the right direction, i'd be really appreciative.
obviously, tried Nissan over here but they wont touch it with a bargepole.
