Not good for the economy in general news like that.
But the reasons a company goes under can be many fold, even in good times a company can be run badly and go bust.
I see even the mighty Honda are laying of a lot of guys in Swindon because of depressed car sales.
My spanner man told me a story a while ago when he serviced my Jeep. He went to the local Jeep main dealer for some parts, and the guy in the service department started having a go at him "you back street garages are taking all our work away".
My spanner man is £45/hr no VAT. God knows what the main dealer labour rates are, £100 + VAT ???
No brainer when your out of warrenty.
