Hyundai Santa Fe 2010 onwards

Afternoon all,

Anyone own or driven one of these? As a comfy daily driver workhorse with lots of space, good equipment, and a reasonable reputation for reliability they look good value for money.

they all have the same 2.2 diesel engine.

Any thoughts or opinions appreciated.

I have a much earlier one (2003) diesel and so can't comment on more recent models although I have heard good reports from owners. For what it is worth, I have done 120,000 fault free miles and it has turned out to be one of the best vehicles I've owned...I'm well into double figures there. A real workhorse...I removed the rear seats and put in a box made from MDF into which I chuck all manner of junk, even builders rubbish that I take to the tip!

My one niggle (apart from being fleeced on a service by a Hyundai dealer) is that the front wheels on hard lock tend to lose grip a little too easily on wet roads and/or the ABS kicks in a bit too sharpish for my liking.
