how about a thread of underbody protection pics? I find it interesting as that's the only scary thing about offroading, isn't it?

Absolutely. The thought of ripping something off on a tree stump, (as I almost did today), is quite terrifying, especially if you are miles from anywhere.

Well, mine was truly botch it stuff. I had some old chequer plate lying around doing nothing, and little bro has a new welder, so we used the greatest measuring device known to man, (the mark one eyeball), and scored it, bent it, and welded up the score, then made some very dodgy measurements, and attached it. Well, as ugly as the rusty bit of scrap it, it seemingly does the job. '






We've still got a few bits, so will look at doing the transfer cases, etc, on the 2 cars in the next few weeks or so. If anyone wants the terribly complicated instructions, and schematics, here you are. A degree may be required.
